Mau tanya apa ada rekan2 disini yang pernah pakai ini untuk outdoor wedding photography ? gimana ya performancenya dengan availiable lighting ? Kemudian berapa max size yang anda pernah print dari RAW / JPG filenya. Thanks.

Sy pernah sekali pinjam 14n teman buat prewed outdoor waktu D70 sy ngambek.. performance buat kebut2an motret kalah jauh dr D70.. tp kualitas gambar dlm hal ketajaman dan warna D70 kalah jauh.. imho Utk max size sy tdk nyoba krn hasil foto sy tsb bukan utk dicetak besar tp cm utk album 25x30.. Sy lampirkan bbrp contoh foto utk om bob analisa sbrp jauh performa 14n dlm availiable light.. Semua foto hanya resize, file asli 6mp (pake mode 6mp), lens nikon 80-200 pulpus gen 2..

Tx P' Rio .. sepertinya karakter Full frame nya keluar ya ? esp di foto ke 3 ... center sharp .. sisanya.. blurrr :D kalo boleh tahu .. foto pre-wedd nya ini dibantu pakai reflektor segala ndak ya? soale shadow areanya ga ada detail sama sekali. thx.
IMHO, lens nikon 80-200 potensinya sebagai lensa keramat (sharp dan bokeh) lebih nampak di 14n drpd di D70, entah ini pengaruh full framenya 14n (krn aslinya 80-200 dicipta utk kamera full frame) atau non AA filternya 14n.. Sy lupa foto yg sy aplot diatas pk reflektor or not, soale ada shoot yg pk reflektor ada yg ndak, tergantung mood tukang fotonya.. :) Kamera pk aperture priority -auto exposure- krn sy blm apal karakter kamera so gak brani gambling pk manual. Btw, meski pk mode AP, sering terjadi OE (baju cowok foto 2) smp detilnya ilang, entah ini krn sy yg msh newbie pk 14n atau metering 14n-nya yg kurang akurat (menurut review2 14n memang kurang doyan kontras tinggi) atau emang baju putih susah utk ditaklukkan (kec S3pro). Maybe ini juga berpengaruh pd shadow area yg gak berdetil.. Yg pasti kalo kuality foto diatas bnyk kekurangannya, 90% itu krn sy blm kuasai 14n.. Jgn salahkan 14n-nya.. :D :D :D

Pak Rio, klo monitor saya benar, berarti gambar 14n ini cenderung reddish, terutama nampak sekali di gambar no.3 kulit anak kecil terlihat kemerah-merahan, padahal saturasinya dibuat normal.
Yup, monitor bpk normal.. I think bukan reddish sih but "warm".. merah kekuning2an.. Cm foto 3 emang lbh condong ke merahnya.. Pak Bagus, kalo ud jadi beli 14n share pengalamannya ya.. :)
Unit saya baru sampai hari ini. Yang pasti .. kamera ini SANGAT SANGAT manja ! Dikasih standard lighting setup saya masih kurang hasilnya .. gak tahu kenapa. Tajam sih tajam, bokeh juga mantab apalagi widenya :) Tapi colour reproduction, image fastness nya kayak pakai camera phone ! [ karakter CMOS kalik ya? ] Berikut review singkat saya di site saya. Kalau besok gak jadi hujan di sini, mungkin saya bawa kamera ini buat test drive :) Moga2 membantu kalau ada rekan yang sempet ngelirik camera ini.

Kodak 14Nx DCR are processed using Kodak Photo Desk 4.3 software, whilst the Nikon NEF and Olympus ORF's are processed using SilkyPix 2.0" Knp nggak di proses pake RAW processing yg sama, kan biar lebih fair.. Pake Converternya PSCS2 misalnya.. 2."The problem most people have with this camera is the colour cast." What the meaning of Colour Cast? Thanks for sharing..
@ P' Rio : Saya ndak pakai CS2 karena menurut review2 .. Kodak PhotoDesk itu the best buat 'adjust' lens calibrationnya, karena seperti anda tahu tiap lens sepertinya ada profilenya tersendiri di Kodak ini. Dan untuk Nikon / Oly , saya pakai SilkyPix karena katanya developer ini sangat robust. Maunya sih saya pakai Pixmantec RAW shooter buat jalan tengah, tapi RS gak support DCR files :( soal Colour cast , kalau anda liat foto yang terakhir tgl 15 Juli .. itu di sisi hitam karena kena flash mestinya putih .. tapi sepertinya malah jadi ungu / violet :(

Saya baru update ke firmware terbaru (5.4.6 beta , unreleased) dari 14N.Kelihatannya menjanjikan. Nanti saya re-do review page saya ah :)
@ Pak Rio, saya dah dapat kameranya kemaren dulu. Tapi belum bisa berbuat banyak, saya benar2 gagap dengan kamera ini. Tidak intuitif menurut saya. Lagipula manual guidenya tidak banyak membantu. Saya coba shot di depan kantor siang hari, dengan iso standard (80), 1/180, f11 lensa 200 F/4 AI manual fokus. Sensor masih kotor, belum paham cara sensor cleannya. Hasilnya, saya kurang begitu suka dengan moire yg ditimbulkan karena downsizing file di Irfanview. @P Herlambang gimana hasil firmware terakhir, bisa direkomen?

@ P' Bagus : Disarankan banget pak. Tadi ada beberapa test shot dengan mixed lighting, seperti problem italian flagnya udah minimal gak kayak hari itu. URL buat filenya saya japri.
Thanks pak Bob, nanti klo sdh punya waktu saya coba2 bikin perbandingan dengan 20d dan 5d.

Kok ngga ada kelanjutannya?:) Mo nanya sekalian, bagaimana performa SLRn diiso 400? Kl dibandingkan dgn 14n gmn? Utk menghindari terjadi color cast gmn? Gmn kira2 nasib 14n/SLRn setelah taun 2008? Thank u banget buat yg mau bantuin jawab.
Soale 14Nx saya udah digotong temen :D Buat hindarin color cast ... jangan moto melawan cahaya terang ajah sih. Kalo dalam controlled lighting, emang mantab palagi pas udah pakai firmware 5.4.6 beta. Nasib setelah 2008 .. paling di market yang besar [UK, US] nanti ada independent repairer yang nyetock partsnya dan charge premium buat service camera tsb :) Attached salah satu sample 14Nx + AFS 17-35 + Hoya CPL.
Pak Herlambang, 14nx kenapa dilepas kl boleh tau? 14nx performanya udah mirip SLRn ya kl ga salah? Noise diiso 400 gmn? Pengen nyoba tp takut kecewa apalagi ngelepasnya jg sptnya susah sekali. Blom lagi kalo mikir sesudah taun 2008. Jangan2 servisnya ampir sama dgn harga jual:)
14Nx dilepas karena banyak sih alasannya .. satunya .. gara2 direbut paksa :D 14Nx udah pakai sensor yang dipakai SLR/n , jadi hanya beda di LED belakang yang terlihat kedipnya kalao writing ama power saving feature nya lebih ok. Terlebih dari itu, kata pakar2nya sih sama ajah. Kalo service sama ama harga jual setelah 2008, itu sih so pasti :) Tapi yang diservis paling cosmetic [ganti grip] da n ganti shutter ajah [bisa comot dari F80, tapi ndak tau yang bisa pasang siapa :D] IMHO kalau anda bisa cari duit dari FF camera .. go for it. Qualitas gambarnya memang luar biasa. Banyak yang compare SLR/c ama Canon 5D , masih menang SLR/c koq. Tapi lawan 1Ds Mk II ... no comment :)
Udah pernah coba di iso 400 dan 800? Image quality dan noise gmn? Benernya sy cuma pengen nyoba aja, bukan pro...tp deg2an mo belinya krn takut harganya terjun bebas meski baru dipake 1thn:) Shutter biasanya tahan berapa lama ya? 30k?
