Saya sekarang pake Canon PS S2 IS + Raynox DCR-250 buat motret serangga. Karena obyek yang saya potret biasanya kecil (ukuran 2-3 mm), saya mesti sering crop dan hasilnya kurang tajem.

Ada yang pernah dengar Raynox MSN-202? Saya udah baca ulasan dari situs McGill & Raynox.co.jp (saya kutip di bawah). Katanya perbesarannya 3 kali DCR-250 (+25 dioptri). Saya kuatir perbesaran ini malah kegedean, depth of lebih kecil dari DCR-250, vignetting berlebihan, dan ngatur cahayanya susah – mungkin ini sebabnya MSN-202 kalah populer dari DCR-250. Atau mungkin sebenernya hasil dari penambahan kaca pembesar juga ga jauh beda dengan MSN-202 ini.

However it also works well for cameras with very high optical zoom such as the 12x Canon S3 or Panasonic FZ50. though there might be serious vignetting. It is also compatible with certain medium-to-telephoto DSLR lenses and even videocams which have filter threads of 62mm or lesser.
