NOT MY IMAGE..... but a close family friend dug this up.rnrnIts a photo of her grandmother's wedding in rural Indonesia during the 1930's.....Notice the Republic of China (Taiwan) flag in background? Why did they do that in Java? THE TAIWAN FLAG WAS DESIGNED IN 1895 MANY YEARS BEFORE KUOMINTANG WENT TO TAIWANrnrnDigipro at Marine Parade did a great job of scanning the original print and doing the touch ups to get rid of the scratches, dried lizard droppings etc etc etcrnrnDespite its age, being kept in humid ordinary day to day weather conditions in a closet and beyond the careless scratches and mould, the photo seems to have archived/aged extremely well. Camera and setting and information stated above ALL FALSE (otherwise cannot Upload this image to share)rnrnrnTHE FAMILY PAID FOR THIS PHOTO AND IT BELONGS TO THEM....NOT THE PHOTOGRAPHER....SO THERE IS NO COPYRIGHT VIOLATION. Mungkin yg Anda maksud bendera Taiwan itu bendera yg sebelah kiri ya ? Sepertinya itu bendera Cina era Nasionalis Kuomintang sebelum dikudeta Mao c.s. Nice photo tough, walopun Anda cuma doin' the touch-up
Great history picture. In my opinion, the flag that you mention (Taiwan flag) is not Taiwan flag. Taiwan does not exist untill 1 October 1949 (Mao proclaimed People's Republic of China and Nationalist fled to offshore island of Formosa -Taiwan). It is more like Dutch flag, considering three colours it has. But i like to hear your opinion or maybe data why you said it was Taiwan flag. Greetings.

I personally thought it's a very entertaining period photo and a VERY good restoration. But I believe the photo are rather out of place here in the gallery. It could be controversial..
Ini bukan foto anda, tapi yang jelas foto ini klasik sekali, saya suka ngeliat kepolosannya dan saya yakin nilainya nanti pasti bagus. Saya bingung, nilai anda nanti pasti bertambah, sementara kalo nggak salah, setiap foto yang diupload di FN kan harus karya orisinal sendiri??? Saya pribadi nggak begitu peduli sama nilai, tapi saya juga bingung foto seperti ini bisa dimasukan kemana karena tempatnya memang belom tersedia di FN...???!!! Daripada pusing, coba perhatiin benderanya, masih bendera belanda ya...
