i actually think the exposure is alright. the focus is great and the expression is nicely captured. rule no. 1, though, never put your subject of interest right in the center of the field. that's what we'd call the 'tourist shot'. this would make the image far less interesting, regardless all the other technically correct elements. it's a classic mistake. once you've gotten over that, you'll notice how much better your photographs look. keep shooting!
